New Flexible Packages Extra Box Sky Sports

To quote the Extra Box help pages "You can watch all the channels and Catch Up and On Demand services that you can view on your main box (excluding Sky Sports and Sky Cinema)."

My question is, is this old information or does it apply to the new Flexible Packages? The whole point of having an extra box is for some people to escape to watch sports, watch those early morning F1 races or in my case being old and decrepit to watch the second half of evening matches in bed. 

No guesses please, I need to know for certain as this is a new VIP package customer deal breaker. Thanks.

I have several 4k boxes in my house, all allow access to the sky channels on the EPG with recording etc.

Hi @benwiddowson   Which package, I assume with an extra box subscription, do you have. I thought it was only one extra box?

@VeteranISPUser i have VIP with added kids pass. I don’t have an extra box subscription.

Just to add. The BT sport channels and crippled BT Player only work on one box in my house. I’ve just hidden the sports channels on the other boxes.
