Re: New Hub 6 firmware update ..now rebooting every 4 mins

Do a factory reset of the hub that should stop the reboots it is advised to do the same after every firmware update

After a factory reset is it OK to restore a saved configuration file so you don't have to manually set everything up again?

Yes. It should work OK but if it doesn't you would need to do another factory reset and enter everything manually.

Re: New Hub 6 firmware update ..now rebooting every 4 mins

Just done a bt speed test

with the hub 6 resetting it has screwed up my ip profile

dropped

how long will it take to pick back again

Or could one of the Mods ask bt for a ip profile reset for me and start new again

Re: New Hub 6 firmware update ..now rebooting every 4 mins

It can take several weeks of stable connection for the DLM to reset

The mods cannot arrange IP profile resets as on ADSL only Openreach can do a reset and that is only if a line fault is found

Re: New Hub 6 firmware update ..now rebooting every 4 mins

BUT it is BTs firmware that caused the issue

they should put there hands up and help people get back what they have lost

not get involved with off shore who follow a script do not understand a word you say

and then start saying about charges to check the line

they should get there own act in order

What? How are we meant to know it has updated? It's not like we get an email or anything. It just happens magically (and then apparently breaks equally magically)
