Noticed a new update on the hub
Went to look took sometime to get the screen
then the broadband started resetting
Phone call to tech group
had to to a hard reset once down it settled down and has not rebooted
trouble is spent more time setting tablets and mobiles
firmware version sg4b1000223e
updated 28th nove
that the date but it updated last night
Do a factory reset of the hub that should stop the reboots it is advised to do the same after every firmware update
After a factory reset is it OK to restore a saved configuration file so you don't have to manually set everything up again?
Yes. It should work OK but if it doesn't you would need to do another factory reset and enter everything manually.
got home today to find it resseting again
Have gone back to my hub 5 to see if it is the line
But this will update soon as last update for the hub 5 was feb.
Why did they update the firmware on the Hub 6 i did not have any issues
Just done a bt speed test
with the hub 6 resetting it has screwed up my ip profile
how long will it take to pick back again
Or could one of the Mods ask bt for a ip profile reset for me and start new again
BUT it is BTs firmware that caused the issue
they should put there hands up and help people get back what they have lost
not get involved with off shore who follow a script do not understand a word you say
and then start saying about charges to check the line
they should get there own act in order
"Do a factory reset of the hub that should stop the reboots it is advised to do the same after every firmware update "
What? How are we meant to know it has updated? It's not like we get an email or anything. It just happens magically (and then apparently breaks equally magically)
