New Infinity2 user

Infinity2 was finally installed yesterday.

I was expecting speeds in the region of

 expecting

This is what I'm getting after 24hrs, a hub restart and connected by ethernet!

Is this a joke?  Will i get nearer the 55.2mb and 18mb that was estimated and the reason I decided to sign up for Infinity2?

Re: New Infinity2 user

At the moment, your profile is only upto 19Mb. The good news is, since Infinity was only installed yesterday, you may find your speed going up and down for a few days.

TBH, I wouldnt bother doing a speed test until after 3 days and then make sure you are connected via the LAN cable not wirelessly, that any email client is closed and any automatic update of anti virus is disabled.
If any mail or AV updates are downloaded at the time you do the speed test, these will likely affect the final result.

Re: New Infinity2 user

Just after the engineer got me to sign for the installation he looked shocked and told me the speed, or lack of it was only 20mb dl and 5mb ul.  He suggested I phoned to complain after a few days before running out of the house as fast as he could.

The lackies won't do anything if it is still within the 10 days.

Though the moderators will sometimes if a lot of speed is missing off the estimate, which it is in my opinion.

I would now advise contacting the moderators because there is something obviously wrong.

You can contact them here, they normally respond within 3 working days.

Re: New Infinity2 user

No I haven't phoned to complain yet. I will leave the phone call until Monday or Tuesday just in case a miracle happens and my speed increases.
