New Line - incredibly SLOW speeds! Help!

Hey guys, last week i had my new line installed to my house after 7 weeks of waiting for BT to actually successfully turn up at our house. However, after the 24h period - our connection is terrible. Here is the data i've collected:

Download Speed: (OOKla Speedtest) 25.67kilobytes per second.
Upload Speed: (OOKla Speedtest) 104.21kilboytes per second.

Here is the information on our ADSL connection: (From BTHUB3):

ADSL Line Status
Connection Information
Line state:Connected
Connection time:0 days, 03:46:45
Downstream:2.679 Mbps
Upstream:798 Kbps

ADSL Settings
VPI/VCI:0/38
Type:PPPoA
Modulation:G.992.5 Annex A
Latency type:Interleaved
Noise margin (Down/Up):6.5 dB / 5.9 dB
Line attenuation (Down/Up):46.4 dB / 27.3 dB
Output power (Down/Up):17.3 dBm / 12.6 dBm
FEC Events (Down/Up):162375 / 8314
CRC Events (Down/Up):5 / 9906
Loss of Framing (Local/Remote):0 / 0
Loss of Signal (Local/Remote):0 / 0
Loss of Power (Local/Remote):0 / 0
HEC Events (Down/Up):8 / 11848
Error Seconds (Local/Remote):5 / 987

As you can see from above, we should be recieveing around 2.5MBPS. Divided by 8 comes out to around 375Kilobytes. Our connection is currently 25Kilobytes. This has not increased since our line was installed. I've been on countless calls with BT and have done EVERY CHECK KNOWN TO MAN. It's been plugged into 3 ADSL ports, even the master sockets test socket. I've run the quiet line test, just to hear nothing on the phone line. Please help me sort this out? thanks.

edited: Also, our connection is very intermittent and continously drops. BT HAS told us there is NO FAULT with the line. And will charge us £130 if an engineer comes to 'fix' it.

Plus, i am a world of warcraft fan, and if you didnt know, Warlords of Draenor came out yesterday. I am suffering from withdrawal symptoms lol..

Re: New Line - incredibly SLOW speeds! Help!

can you go back to test socket please nd connect with new filter and then repost stats.  with your attenuation and a good line with no noise I would expect a connection speed of about 6/6.5mb

can you run btspeedtester and when first test completes then run diagnostic test and post results  should be done with wired conenction and don't reset before test

Re: New Line - incredibly SLOW speeds! Help!

can you connect to test socket and repost the router stats please

problem is your profile is far to low for your conenction speed which is very unusual for 21CN connections.  I think your profile should be 2.36mb based on your conenctiion speed
