Hi
I saw this article on the express website today, stating the Now TV Packages are changing - price changes, package changes and also device limit changes.
I was wondering whether BT customers are affected by the change, and if so does the billing change automatically.
Will this also affect people like me that have the Now Big Entertainment package with HD add on.
Darren
I received this email today:
Your BT TV package includes a NOW Entertainment Membership, so there is something you need to know: |
1) You’re getting six new channels from 8 June |
Good news, Boomerang, Cartoonito, Cartoon Network, Nickelodeon, Nick Jr. and Nicktoons are about to be part of your package. |
You and your family will get to enjoy them as a benefit of your NOW Entertainment Membership. Watch live or through on-demand streaming with suitable ads. |
What happens next? |
If you're happy with these changes you don't have to do a thing: in June the six channels we've mentioned will be added automatically. |
Thanks, |
I was just going through my package and I have the VIP then pay for the kids now TV boost on top, so I guess that will be automatically cancelled from next month?
Off the top of my head think that will be the only saving, cinema has reduced by £2 but hd increased by £2
Got the same Email this morning, nothing mentioned about Fox/Discovery yet, but informing me of the addition of the Kids channels to my Now Entertainment pack, can confirm that these channels are indeed working on my box.....oh well, at least it means i can now catch up on the adventures of Scooby Doo and the gang!!!
Perhaps one of the mods (@SeanD ) could fill in the substantial gaps here.
I received an email this morning (the day after the changes take affect) about my package which reads as follows:-
"Hello,

Note that there is no mention of price or my options if I am not happy.
If they want to add kids channels to my package at no extra cost to me then I can live with that but since I have no kids I'm not prepared to pay extra for them. So am I happy with these changes? I don't know because I haven't been given enough information to decide
I have the VIP and I have both Now TV and BT Kids add ons.
I received this email this morning - no mention of any price changes.

Cheers Stew.
I cut and pasted the email I received in full with the obvious exception of the legal bits at the bottom and there is no bullet point 2) or a telephone number to ring if I'm not happy.
Guess it's time to put this new DV phone to the test and make a call
It’s pretty straightforward from what I can see. The kids pack as an extra is stopping and it’s being added onto the entertainment pack. No price increase. If you’re paying for the kids add on you’ll save money.
