New Wall Point

I currently have a wireless router downstairs for the internet but I was wondering how much it would cost to get a wall point in my bedroom for a wired router. I don't want a new number or new broadband plan, I just want a new wall point so I can have a wired router in my bedroom.

How much will this cost to have installed and how much monthly will this cost?

Thanks.

Re: New Wall Point

Do you mean you would like to use your current broadband connection in your bedroom as well as downstairs?

the simplest option would be to purchase a wireless adapter for the bedroom computer and connect to the wireless router.

Re: New Wall Point

Sounds like you simply need an extension wired from down stairs phone socket to bedroom BT would charge about £200 (minimum call out £ 130) so  diy or get a local handy man to do it a lot cheaper

May sound silly but you do know only 1 adsl modem can be used per phone line ?
