having but problems with my home internet/wifi for months now, see faults,

Willing to try anything at this point, disc firmware; (Have 3, 2 connected (Unable to remove old one - Post raised) 

Discs x2 - Firmware version: 0.13.03.02251

Smart hub 2  is - Firmware version: v0.13.03.02221-BT Firmware updated: 8-Jun-2019

The BETA upgrade seems to make stability issues worse with my Yamaha Musiccast system.   When I link speakers and equipment together there are far more dropouts in connections than before.

The wifi strength is at 100% on the linked devices they are each linked to different discs as before.

Any ideas I've set the mode on the Yamaha Musiccast System to the highest Stability Setting.  The Yamaha system is on the 2.4GhZ frequency.

Glad your's is settling down mate, i'm on 15+ Engineer visits, 3/4 routers, 2/3 discs, new master socket, external cabling replaced, 2/3 dig orders and a year of banging my head against a wall.... thank yourself lucky!!

Can anyone point me in the direction of how to manually update the firmware on this piece of **bleep** technology using the mybtdevice.home interface? My discs have been in a box for about 18 months (having removed them from my setup due to constant drop outs) , and having moved house thought I would try them again, this time with a BT Hub6 broadband subscription.  They are on ancient firmware (1.02.01 build 24) and will not update themselves due to an earlier issue I have researched to do with no access to the firmware server.  I cannot get through the disc 1 set up process (can't get beyond renaming the disc on any of the three).

As the mybtdevice.home interface has a Manual Update section on the firmware update page I thought I would be able to download the firmware manually from somewhere, but cannot find a source. 

Help appreciated at this stage or theese are going in the bin and I will try the google ones.

Ditto - same boat. Just bought some used discs running old firmware and can't set them up or update them. Damn annoying.

Ditto again.  FAQs have been useless.  Factory reset the discs multiple times, no help.   Android app gets stuck after scanning the QR code, iOS app hangs renaming the discs, so thought a firmware update might help.  Mostly when checking for new firmware it says I have the latest (1.02.01b24).   Occasionally it says 1.02.08b02 is available, but when trying to upgrade after a couple of seconds it says "Connect server error. FW upgrade stop. Please try again." 

Since there is a Manual Update option I assumed the firmware was available for download on the product support page  (as it says!)
