Re: New Yahoo e-mail screens

Sorry to disagree but if I go into Tools, there is not a "options/security path, & I'm using the latest version 31.6

Re: New Yahoo e-mail screens

If you can not get it to save the password you might be easier just to delete the account and set it up again.

When you click Tools, isn't Options at the bottom of the drop-down list?

Re: New Yahoo e-mail screens

You just click on Options from the menu dropdown box top right. Then select Security, then the Passwords tab.

Re: New Yahoo e-mail screens

OK, thanks done that & I casn see my password.

So the next time I connect onto Thunderbird & send a e mail can I assume that I will not have to input my password to send the mail?

That is correct, assuming everything is working correctly.

Re: New Yahoo e-mail screens

First of all, apologies for my advice in Message 70, which related to changed passwords (though it might also work for you).

If not, you may need to change a setting in the Config Editor. Have a look at Options > Advanced > Config Editor > signon.rememberSignons. If the Value is "false" change it to "true".

Re: New Yahoo e-mail screens

Sorry, missed out the General tab. Tools > Options > Advanced > General and it's at bottom right. Mind the dragons!
