New-build - Can't find my address

Hi

 

I'm interested in purchasing an Infinity package but can't find my address on the website. My home is a new build, however I can find other new houses around the estate (infinity is available here).

 

My address is available on Royal Mail, so it looks like the postcode search on the BT website hasn't been updated.

 

Any idea how I can order online?

Have you tried to place an order for a phone line first, from BT Retail?

No I haven't, I was hoping I could order the line and broadband in on go online. Is it best to order a phone line separately first?

With a new build, where no external route exists on the Openreach database, its usually best to get a working phone line first, as that will create an order from BT Retail, and Openreach will build the route.

 

Within a few days of the phone line being activated, you should be able to see what broadband options are available.

 

On properties where there has been service before, ordering both phone and broadband together usually presents no problems.
