New customer - Home Hub 2 delivered without cables or filter

Go to solution

I moved into a new house and signed up to BT Broadband a week ago.  Just received my home hub 2 and it didn't have any means to plug it into the phone socket whatsoever. Is this normal?

They should have told me I would have to go source my own phone/broadband cables and filters at least.

you should have received a rj11 modem cable which connects hub to master socket and a filter in case needed   does your master socket have a separate outlet for adsl and one for phone?

you need to phone CS 150 or 0800800150 from mobile

Have contacted them on that number and they're sending out a cable and filter. The master socket only has one output so will need a filter.

Turns out it was a mix up with them thinking I had existing hardware.

Thanks for your help.
