New customer with 3 accounts on MyBT. Trying to activate mobile/bt sport online

I am a new customer with a VOL number for my order.  Today I have recieved my new phone sim.  Broadband etc not activated yet.

I am told i can activate the phone sim and BT Sport online but i do not know which is my new account to link to.

On MyBT three accounts are shown (previous customer) but i cannot tell or get any sense out of anybody as to which is my new account number. Help

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Hi @rustyzcom

 

 

As a new customer the new account number might not be linked to your mybt yet. 

 

The quickest way I can recommend to get this sorted would be by contacting the BT ID chat team using this link

 

I know we can take a few days to get back to you and with the weekend it could be longer so try the chat team first.
