now i know wy my boxs were playing up with few channels my moves 24 it was to do with the new software i just got today on my two boxs . now i got the new software both box have been ok

A fully fledged iOS/Android remote app would be great. They've already established a way of connecting our phones for recording. It would'nt take much more effort to implement control of the YV os.

This will make the already good interface easy to use when searching instead of pushing numbers to get letters. Eg 1(abc1.) This could allow us to get some decent apps, (hardware permitting) from the content providers. Not to be confused with the players.

Hi All,

 

Interesting - It would appear that the update has done some interesting things to my BT Box.

 

I can no longer access the BT player

I've lost a number of channels including BT Sports, Kids Channels, Music Channels and others such as Uniiversal, Fox, etc.

Recordings on some of the above mentioned channels are not working - guess that is related.

A reboot hasn't worked, so I guess it will be a re-tune and then a factory reset.

 

Broadband connection appears to be fine, so not sure what else it could be.

Hi Ryan, I was having this issue this evening as well. If you go into settings > device management > software update. I had a software update that hadn't installed, once my youview box restarted BT player and Internet channels had returned.
