New website popularity

This website seems to have acquired more then 2000 new attendees this week.  Anyone have any ideas why?

That number has been typically 600-1500 in my time here.  Last week it's been 2000-3000 plus

To see new members, you would have to look at the user ID of the newest poster a week ago, then look at the user ID of the latest new poster. That would give you an idea of new registrations.

You could also work out the total number of members by looking at the ID number of the latest new registration.
