stats looking ok for coming up 2 days conenction
Good morning imjolly,
Just when I was hoping everything was OK the hub resynced at 05:12 this morning resulting in the second lowest downstream speed ever. My IP Profile is still that oddball 90.4% of my connection speed ?

had you noticed noise margin dropping low or any noise on the line?
Hi imjolly,
The noise margin did drop to 4.7 dB but that is not abnormal. I did a quiet line test and it was silent.
I tried a restart at 12:16. The results were not good, viz :-

I think that may have been a bit quick after the drop this morning would have been better to leave it for a day or so before resetting again
Hi imjolly,
I was unable to access the internet for about the last 10 minutes.
All lights on the HH3 remained blue and the ADSL Stats indicate no loss of connection, viz :-

Is this BT up to their tricks again ?
could have just been a local problem - your stats look good for 9 days connection time
Hi imjolly,
If it was BT causing a break in the cable with all this duct laying going ( 16 seperate locations ) on then surely the ADSL stats would have shown a disconnection. The cable linking the PCP to the fibre cabinet was also laid this morning.
whatever caused it thankfully it did not disturb your sale connection
when is fibre estimated for you?
Hi imjolly,
By the end of this month but I am still a bit dubious.
If it is that close I really do not understand why they are replacing so much duct at such a late stage.
It wasn't all that long ago that BT were recovering redundant copper cable in very similar locations. Why did they not lay the new duct at the same time. Needless to say I cannot get any answer out of BT or OR.
I did get one email from OR a while ago assuring me we would go live by the end of May.
