No Broadband

Hi all, just a quick question... 

A relative of mine had BT Broadband installed a week ago, and all of a sudden they can't get internet at all. A BT engineer has been on the phone and they have tried moving the home hub to a different socket, new filter, and just nothing will work. 

Anything else they can try? Could it be the Home Hub, and if it is, am I able to take my round and see if it works with mine?

Wouldn't hurt. New ones have been known to go phut, and will be replaced by BT.

 

You can come back here for advice if it doesn't get resolved.

you could try a full factory reset of the hub and post back what lights are onm and colours of them please

Well only the power light is on. BT told them to try the test socket, and then the upstairs ext, and now they said to leave it and do not under any circumstances touch it until they contact them?! A higher engineer is calling them tonight apparently. Sounds like a dodgy router to me.
