No Internet after activation

My Internet, Phone and TV were due to be activated yesterday, after losing phone and broadband for eight hours the phone line started working. However despite receiving an email from BT saying all my services should be working i have no Internet. The home hub six is flashing purple. I have checked the set up and can see no problems my end. I have spoken to BT twice who have checked the signal/service there end but they cannot see any problems. They said an engineer would come but would take a week !!! Having phoned again it appears the engineer wasn't booked for me, after much complaining they have now assured me an engineer would come Friday ( why after complaining am I able to get an earlier engineer visit) My query is when I log onto mybt dashboard my package shows that I don't have broadband, I have asked why isn't it showing on my account and could this be the problem, but the agents say broadband is showing as active there end. Does anyone have any thoughts?

Was that Sky Fibre, or just normal broadband?

Hi Keith, my previous sky was normal broadband signed to BT for infinity 1. Thanks

Hi Keith having entered my number the next screen said that the availability date on all options was available. Sorry I was unsure what to look for.

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.
