No broad band or phone services promised compensation not got

I have had a problem since July with dropping Internet connections , slow speed and lack of phone .an engineer visited my property and confirmed there was a fault with the line l I was offered compensation ( I have reference numbers for this ) I was told until the complaint was closed you wouldn't pay out the compensation of £76. I rang on Thursday this week to your shambolic call centre and was told my complaint has been closed. Ok , I said and me cheque for the £76 . I have been ringing every day and get cut off passd from pillar to post about this l 1) send me a cheque as you agreed you would 2) send me copies of the engineer report as I don't believe the cable he said had to be fitted was ever done 3) fit the correct cable as per his instructs 4)send me a letterof apology for the disgusting way my complaint has been treated 5) make sure the engineer comes out that has been booked for this Friday Today I have been on the phone for 45 minutes from a mobile trying to sort this out

they normally reply by email or phone directly to you within 72 hours

They are a UK based BT specialist team who have a good record at getting problems solved

I also contacted by care on twitter lol , they have replied to my tweet or even my direct message . Been on the phone a further 30 minutes today with no success in 1) talking to anyone who will listen to what I am saying 2) people refusing to speak to me and refusing to give me their name .

Just spoke to someone again at bt , engineer is booked for Friday . But they can't put a call divert on my line as I don't have the account number . Thank you very much bt , excellent customer service .

Your account number is on your bill or if you use online billing it is ion your MY BT page

If you have access to broadband you can put the divert on yourself viia "my bt" yet again you will need your acount number to set up my BT

Two days in , no reply from a mod on this forum despite sending a message to them , no sense from bt on a very expensive mobile phone and no reply from the @btcare twitter account. I don't have any old bills so I don't have my account number , whatnimdomhowever have is disgusting service from British telecom

as posted it can take up to 72 hours for the mods to reply they are a small team of BT uk based specialists as also suggested try going to my BT your account number is available there
