I can see lots of posts on this but no solution applicable to me, so sorry for starting another thread on this.
I have BT Sport and BT Broadband, and just bought a Chromecast to watch sport on the TV. The Chromecast works fine - every other cast-enabled app works from my iPhone and iPad, but the BT Sport app doesn't. Tried it on an android too and that doesn't work either.
Tried on-line chat with BT, and on the phone, and they all say different things and no-one can solve it. Some of the answers I got today:
"well the cast icon should be there"
"you have to phone Google"
"BT is no longer compatable to cast though Chromecast on TV"
I've tried switching everything off, uninstalling and re-installing, and all that. Nohing works.
I wonder if it's because I have BT Sport for free with BT mobile, but I would have thought BT would have told me that.
Can anyone help?

It sound like you have BT Sport with BT Mobile -Learn about BT Sport and BT Mobile
No, you won't be able to stream from your smartphone if you have BT Sport and BT Mobile only. For big screen access you can subscribe to BT Broadband, BT TV or add just the BT Sport channel on Sky. See which option is best for you >
I hope that helps?
I do have BT Broadband.
But I got BT Sport for free when I got BT Mobile, is this a different sort of BT Sport?
Ah - just read your links and finally seen what I've been looking for - the BT Mobile Sport app won't cast to Chromecast. Shame that was so well hidden on the BT website so I didn't see it before I bought the Chromecast. All other references to BT Sport and Chromecast say you can do it.
Thank you so much for your help, no-one else at BT today could manage it, and the website is misleading to say the least.
