I raised a fault on Thursday 28th Feb for an issue with my landline - there is no dial tone.
I completed the various diagnostics, tried a different phone, tried the test socket, nothing. My BT Infinity is working fine though, thankfully.
I have logged into my BT account this morning to check the fault is showing etc and it isn't, although I have an engineer visit booked for 9/3/19. A fault was raised 20/2/19 Problem - Broadband - Upfront Test with a reference number - fault fixed on 28/2/19 at 6:54am.
I didn't log this fault, so I have no idea where it has come from.
Can someone check what is going on as I still have no dial tone?
if you have FTTC not sure how it is working if you have no dial tone as you have engineer visit already booked then just need to wait and if still problems after visit post back
Hi @CNW Is the appointment showing if you sign in with your BT ID on our fault tracking service?
Nope, no sign of it all.
Only one fault showing from 20th Feb at 23:51 - I have no idea who raised this Broadband - UpfrontTest.
It is now showing as being resolved.
Nothing else.
I know the fault was definitely logged as it is added to my Google Calendar as an appointment 9/3/19.

@imjolly, DSL can work without dial tone, just very slowly.
thanks I well aware of that but @CNW says broadband working normally
It's connected at 55/10Mbps, no slow down at all.

@imjolly, ah your post implied that you were surprised that it was working at all. Maybe the attainable has dropped with the NDT fault, but not enough to drop the actual rate.
no I had read the original post which you obviously did not connection is 55/10mb as per @CNW
