No internet for 2 weeks and engineer won't show up, help?

Recently changed from Plusnet to BT on the 16th of September, the Internet didn't get activated when it should have (17th up until midnight). Called them the next day and they apologised but couldn't fix it and then they were closed for the weekend. Called again Monday, promised they'd resolve the issue this week and gave us excuses and excuses over the course of the week. They said an engineer was fixing the problem on Wednesday but nothing got updated on our end. Again, it was the weekend again then so we were in the dark yet again. Come Monday, they tell us the problem is so small and simple to fix and don't understand at all why it's not fixed. Still no Internet today( Friday) when an engineer was meant to come to the house (8am-1pm) and never did. No warning, no call or email to say they aren't coming. My router has been flashing pink and orange for about 3 days but it's been a mixture of both this past week. 

So that's now another weekend again without internet, I'm tired of this appalling service and how much money we have lost and coursework I cannot upload, it's disgusting how they are getting away with such lack of communication overall and failure to fix the issue. 2 weeks of no internet is a business loss.

does your phone work?  if there is a dial tone can you enter number and post results  https://www.broadbandchecker.btwholesale.com/#/ADSL

in your post you said '2 weeks of no internet is a business loss'  is this a business connection?

No it isn't a business connection but it's a rhetorical statement, my mother runs an online business however and cannot do her work and earn money. I have tried that, it tells me everything is fine.

if you have dial tone then can you post dslchecker results

obviously as it is a residential line then there is no account taken of any business problems or loss of work/income
