No internet for around 5days now help!!

I phone bt to renew my contract on Friday. Then phoned them Saturday because I had no internet. They told me the was a problem at the exchange and my internet should be back on by the 24th it is now the 26th and still no internet. I have got no minutes on my mobile to phone to find out what it going on. My bill is all up to date. I have done all the unplug the hub thing. What do I do next?

renewing your contract should not cause a loss of conenction as you go on to a rolling monthly contract when your term contract ends - so you would not be disconnection just because you reached end of 12/18 month contract

Thanks it is say it it still has a fault on the exchange. But still saying the will fix by the 24th. Which has been and gone.

so if you connect router to test socket what colour is lights on hub?

Faults sometimes take longer than estimated particularly if they are complex faults

The hubs light is blue.

then that is normally the colour when hub is connected to internet
