No longer with BT but still getting billed!!

Any help would be great.

I cannot get through to BT for weeks. I am still getting billed for a service that was moved to another provider months ago. That provider informed me that they would contact BT.

My BT account has been passed to an external debt agency!!!

If there are any BT staff here who could answer then please do.

Thanks

I have asked a moderator to provide assistance, they will post an invite on this thread.
They are the only BT employees on this forum, and are based in the UK.

Re: No longer with BT but still getting billed!!

Hi @wildrover1 welcome to the forum and thanks for posting. I just wanted to check as you mention that you are still getting billed for service and that the account is to be passed to a collection agency. The account would be closed and the final bill issued to allow payment before a case is passed to a collection agency. Would you please check your latest bill and see if it shows an "F" after your account number.

If it does that is the final bill. Check the charges are correct and if not or it is not an "F" bill post back and let me know.

cheers
John

Re: No longer with BT but still getting billed!!

Hi @wildrover1 thanks for checking that and posting back. So that confirms your account is closed. Is there a refund of rental showing a credit back to the date you moved your service? If not are there any cancellation charges?

Cheers
John
