No sound

Hello

I have a dtrt2110 with latest firmware 15 jan 2017, manufacturer software 26.40.4

Sometimes when turning the box on I have no sound, if i put it into standby and turn it back on i still have no sound.

So i have to turn off by the switch at the back, when it turns back on i have sound.

So this is obviously a bug or issue with my box.

Its done it twice now but wondering whats going on?

Are you using the TV speakers via HDMI cable, or are you using a SoundBar via the SPIDF (Optical) cable ?

I use the latter on my G4 YV DTRT2100 box and frequently the sound goes when changing Channels - total PitA to have to power it off & on again to restore the sound !

Seems OK when I revert to TV speakers - ie just use the HDMI cable ...

Just audio over hdmi.

I have set my remote to learn the tv, but even changing the sound by tv remote is still the same.

Next time i might try removinh hdmi from tv then plug back in, just incase its somehow my lead but doubtful

Try either of these two, removing HDMI cable from box for 5 secs or in Settings toggle the HDMI output from 1080 to 720 or vice versa as this blips the HDMI port on the box.
