Recently , in the last few days , the noise margin shown in my Smart Hub shows as 12 which is double what it used to be.
Obviously my connection speed has suffered accordingly.
My question is , can anything be done about this or will it sort itself eventually ?
Who can say until you post the stats? Not just the noise margin but Data rate, Max Data rate, noise margin and line attenuation.
Post the above and someone should be able to advise further.
Meanwhile try a quiet line test with a corded phone 17070 option 2.

@Black_Infinity I'm sorry to see you're having connection problems. I can see the up time on your router stats is showing just over 7 hours. Has the connection been dropping out? Also can you try the quite line test to see if you've any noise on the line.
I can beat that ! I have a problem uploading although my upload speed is 20kbps....

I'm already in touch with the BT Care team and spoke to them earlier today and am awaiting the results of their tests/investigations.

Quiet line test is indeed quiet.
Router does not usually reset often. Since using the Smart Hub I only usually see a reset on maybe a weekly basis or more.
The only thing I noticed to be different was the noise margin.
Connection speed seems to be reducing even more since Noise Margin has increased to 13+
Up untill now , I have had a solid 26 connection. I am now down to 17 😞
