Noise margin dropped to 1.5db (dowload)

HomeHub 6 (A)

Firmware SG4B1000E016

My D/L margin is steadily dropping and is now at 1.5db, speed going obviously.

My U/L margin is normal at 6db

17070 opt 2 is clear.

It all started around the time that the new firmware was installed, coincidence? probably?

Still getting 43 Mb down from 50, but what next?

Can anybody think of a next step?

If it started about last firmware update maybe the update needs a factory reset of hub to complete the updated. Not normally required but worth a try

Spot on!
Early this morning I reviewed the data given by the Hub.
Under the standard Status screen I saw,
Network uptime & Sys uptime
Going to advanced (Tech Log) I saw
DSL uptime
The DSL uptime was 'out on its own'
Hard reset it was.
I have my 3.5db back and I hope that I will get my speed back eventually.

Update!

I have not got speed back but the 'Margin' has gone up to 4.5db
