Re: Noise

Hello :),
Can you please post your ADSL stats by following this direct link; http://192.168.1.254/index.cgi?active_page=9116 << it only works if you have a Home Hub 2.0+ and remember to type your password in!

Also we need a speedtest just to have a look and make sure everything's okay? Use this link http://bit.ly/o8qqQ9 as it will also help you diagnose and give you a list of solutions afterwards to help you diagnose your problems if it thinks there is a problem. Could you please also copy and paste the results from the White/Black/Green pop out page including your IP profile, DSL Connection Rate and speed achieved during test.

To get your Noise Margin reset contact the mods, you can do that by following this link: http://bt.custhelp.com/app/contact_email/c/4951 - however I would not reccomend getting it reset if you have noise on your line?

Re: Noise

Everything I or any other member types is all written by ourselves, and we choose what language to use. We use Macros written again by ourselves to save typing it up every time. If you don't like it, you can always type in Welsh in future.

Re: Noise

Hi Cymru The reason we ask for hub stats and speed tests to see where the causes of problems are coming from then we can advise the best course of action to resolve a problem for example the hub results may show the reason that your noise margin has risen like any problem causes must be found first there may be an underlining problem that has caused this and unless resolved resetting your noise margin may just result in it going back up again.
All posters here give of there own time to help others and with respect comments like that are not needed this is a friendly helpful forum can we please keep it like that

Re: Noise

I cant see the relation to my first language has anything to do with what I posted, If the reply was in Welsh  I would have answered the same.   Also as you were so quick to draw a distinction of language, the old saying, scratch below the service!
