Normal to only have one hub restart since going on ADSL2+ on the 26th?

When I first started out I had numerous hub restarts while my line was stabilised but since going on ADSL2+ on the 26th I've only had one.  It did increase the speed very slighty but I've had no more since then.

I have no problem I just thought it would be restarting a lot more than it has.

I had about 3 restarts a day when they stabilised the ADSL max connection that's why I'm wondering.

your connection looks good from the last set of stats you posted apart from error seconds which were high but you are on fast at present.  just stick with it as you have had a great result for your efforts

That's good I was just looking at the errors myself and they are going up and up but that's normal I suppose for the ten day period.

So far my download speeds haven't dipped below 1.1MB/s and have peaked at 1.3MB/s which is the fastest speed I've ever had since getting online all these years 🙂

leaving as it is for now interleaving may come on automatically if not and you start to have any problems the we can get the mods involved to get it turned on

It has always been on fast if I remember rightly. So fast only works with max not 2?

it is used on all versions of broadband do not worry about it if it is needed to stabilise your line it will come on automatically if it does not and you start getting disconnections you can get the mods to turn it on

Re: Normal to only have one hub restart since going on ADSL2+ on the 26th?

from the last set of stats your crc/hec errors were ok so just check when you look at your stats if still on fast the the crc/hec errors are not increasing rapidly as that will slow down  your download speed

you must be getting good at reading the stats now Smiley Wink

Can you have a quick look and compare them for me please?  I don't know how fast they should increase etc.
