Norton 360 VPN slows down Ultrafast 150mb

Hi

Just installed Norton 360 and I’ve noticed that when I have Norton VPN turned on my Ultrafast average speed falls from 130mb down to 45mb (as tested on Ookla) even changing ookla servers still shows the drop in speed.
I’ve turned Norton VPN off again and speed returned to average of 130mb.

Anyone else seeing this issue using Norton VPN? 

I’ve got a work laptop that used a business VPN (Cisco) and speeds in that are 130mb average.

Guessing Norton Servers throttling.

Yes, Norton 360 VPN does apparently slow down super-fast (vdsl2) connection also. I have disabled the VPN.

Perhaps you could take this up with Norton.

Most vpns by there very nature of how they work will slow down your connection to some extent.
