Not all E-mails being received

Good Morning, Recently I have noticed that I am not receiving all replies to e-mails.

This appears to be from G-mail, Icloud & BT accounts. They are from Family & Friends.

If after finding that they have replied and I have not received it, I have requested they send again and add my sub account e-mail. I then receive the e-mail on the sub account , but not on the main e-mail address. I can clearly see on their e-mail reply the addresses are correct. All other e-mails from Banks etc., are received on the main address. Can someone please advise, I wondered if maybe some of our family and friends are replying from I phones etc.?

Try adding their email address to your "Safe Senders" list. You can find that by logging onto your email account then clicking on your user name at the right hand side then going to "Settings" then "Mail" then "Safe Senders".

Many thanks for your prompt reply. Shall try this, but wonder why this is happening, and only on main e-mail address when  sub e-mail address is not affected. May I ask why e-mails from companies are received when I have not made them safe senders.

Hi @seville I'm sorry to see you're not getting all your emails, have you checked the spam folder to see if they are there? 

As well as adding the emails to your safe sender's list, I'd also recommend checking if there are any email rules set up that could be allocating the emails incorrectly to a different folder than your inbox.  You can if there are any rules in the email settings.

Problem now appears to be resolved.
In the past I had blocked spam e-mails addresses from G mail and I cloud, but of course they then included family and friends . Many thanks Seville
