A month os so ago I cancelled my BT essential TV package whilst at the same time started a new BT fttp fibre contract (rural - no fttc).
MyBT tells me that I have no fibre connection (despite using the >40Mb service to write this) and that I now have BT TV Essential Plus.
Numerous times I've phoned up the useless cust services people to say I'm not at present being charged for the fibre but being charged for the TV service I dont want (BT tv box is in the garage).
My bill is probably cheaper without the fibre charge but I'm an honest guy so I 'd like things done properly really. But BT doesn't seem interested.
