Not displaying images - coincidence?

Hello

My switch over to BT Infinity 1 was completed 5 days ago.

However, since the switch, I'm finding that images embedded in e-mails (I use 32bit versions of Office 365 + Outlook + Exchange) will not display. I'm just getting placeholders and if I click on the icon displayed in the top left corner of the placeholder box, I see this message: "The linked image cannot be displayed. The file may have been moved, renamed or deleted. Verify that the link points to the correct file and location"

Now, I have not changed anything except my broadband service provider. So, is this a coincidence?

It seems rather a big one if it is.

Anyone had similar experiences / have ideas / solutions to this annoying new "feature"

(BTW - I use Windows 10 Pro 64bit Anniversary Update Edition)

Thanks.

Re: Not displaying images - coincidence?

I don't think it is anything to do with infinity, check your outlook settings there should be an option to download attachments.

Re: Not displaying images - coincidence?

Look under Outlook options -> Trust Centre -> Trust Centre Settings. Here you should see the option to automatically download pictures.

You may want to read Block or unblock automatic picture downloads in email messages before changing.
