Not receiving emails from specific contacts and absolutely nothing going into spam folder

For months I have not been receiving emails from specific contacts that I've had for years. They are not in spam or trash - they are just not getting through. I am now missing out on important messages because of this. I've checked my blocked senders and they're not in there. Being a freelance worker I'm tearing my hair out as I'm missing out on jobs. Anyone else having this problem? I've read somewhere that it's because BT now does it's own filtering of spam - this is ridiculous - I'm rather sort through it myself - at least I'd then receive the emails that are meant for me.

Check your blocked senders list for the senders domain not just their email address.

Try adding their email address to your "safe senders" list.

If your senders are using their own domain email service get them to check that they are complying with BT best practice policy.

Of no help to you but just for info, all email services filter spam. If they did not you would be totally swamped with spam. It is estimated that world wide over 180 billion spam messages are sent every day.

Many thanks for this. I'll add them to my safe senders list and see if that makes a difference.  I still don't understand why I don't receive any spam at all - I suppose I should be thankful.
