Utter Pants !
Once again, I cannot send mail. This is getting more and more frequent.
One reason for staying with BT was reliable - not anymore...
Time to move over to my GMAIL
Come on mods!! Where is the sticky stating there is a problem? Where the apology? Where the estimate of when it will be fixed? Where the promise of a rebate (at least of 2 days or however long the problem persists)????
Nothing in or out on a mac and a PC, using differnet email programmes and different accounts
At least webmail works
NO explanation from BT ...servce getting poor
All write to chief exec
How come BT Yahoo mail works fine from a TalkTalk customer's connection ?
Yes, it's playing up again this afternoon, after yesterday's problems.
None of my BT accounts will download using LiveMail, or gmail, but it seems to work fine using my unmigrated BTYahoo mail ( https://signin1.bt.com/login/emailloginform )
It's a real nuisance that this is happening again. I have 5 BT mail accounts, and even though I can check them through BTYahoo mail, I have to log in to each account separately as I can't see anyway of logging in to all the accounts in one go, like we used to be able to before this farce began.
Highly inconvenient, I'm going to move everything to my gmail account now.
this happening on a day to day basis for me
there is an error somewhere in the actual BT server it usually clears after a few hours!!! whichh isnt good enough
it happens on pc and mobile devices so its not down to one piece of my equipment
its happened since the BT mail migration
oh just checked and works thru bt yahoo
Email through web page is direct with Yahoo.
Email through mail programs go through BT servers.
One would assume threfore that the problem is between BT and Yahoo.
Given that BT are moving away from Yahoo, what priority do we think Yahoo will give this ??
Anybody using BTMail direct (migrated) having issues?
I think it's a Yahoo problem, not just BT-Yahoo. I have a separate Yahoo mail account, and today I can't reliably log in to Yahoo mail - either on web mail or via POP3.
BT's become a joke. I work from home and it's just taken 45 minutes to send one e-mail after being asked for the username and password about 20 times. Don't even mention the Home Hub 5 that drops the connection several times a day.
tried to use the BT Chat to dicsuss probelm with BT and gave up waiting for an available agent after 20 minutes whislt the web page advised me taht average customer wait time was about 12 minutes.
That 24 hour deadline BT gave itself to solve this problem is rapidly coming to an end. No improvement at all. In fact I think it's got worse. It worked fine till about mid-morning today. After that....nothing. Not even a test email to myself using web mail worked. You wonder how competent those back room boys at BTinternet are!
