Clear your browser cache,history and cookies and stored username/password for the site and re enter it when you next log on.

Sometimes, the system can be confused, if you are already logged in the forums, and then try to login to MyBt. It could be browser related, as suggested.

Make sure that you are logged out of the forums, before login to MyBt.

Well I did go to the mountain.🤔

I used a new W10 Pro and apart from rearranging the alphabet refuses to login to BT mail. All ways.

Next I tried my W8.1 Pro and it too will only login to this place and no email but guess what - I can pay my BT bill but do absolutely nothing else BT wise.

So I must stick with my tired old W7 Pro as it does login and it doesn't tell me to go meditate, eat yogurt and consume cookies.😩

The proces is :

Login to gt mail get rejected - ☹️

Go to My BT

Log in to Pay My Bill

Go to support  - ask the community

From here go to Email.😄  And login in.

So much better now.

As this is the accepted solution - which someone has posted it is - I have just one question.

Shouldn't bt remind customers logging in their their email account takes at least 4 steps and two seperate logins?

Only if you do it by some convoluted route!

So I save dthe link and this happens when I open it:

My I restart the browser..... and now the convolueteded way doesn't work neither.

Can I close my mail account with bt and keep the broadband?
