Old colsed account showing default on equifax

I have a current BT account but have noticed that you have an account in my credit file showing default. I’ve just been on the phone and was told this old account was paid off in full in 2011. Than I was cut off.

I need this account took off my credit file immediately. It’s affecting me getting a mortgage

Opened in 2009 and it says a balance of £174 defaulted on the 27/10/2010

One of your operators said it was paid off in full in 2011 but it’s showing a £174 balance on my Equifax credit rating.

twice I've phoned up and twice been diconnected. All the operator keeps saying is my account is fine.

It's the old account showing default
