Re: Older Home Hub 4 with HG612. Would upgrading to Home hub 6 be better. Help ?

thanks all

do any bt  HG612 white modems work with bt is there no seettings you need to change or are they all just plug and play ?

I am sure i read somwhere that you can still plug a asus router into a HH5 or 6 and disable the router side of the hub and just use it as a modem and plug a router into it, is that true ?

thanks

You can with a bit of faffing about, there is no directly configurable modem only mode, but it is much simpler to use the right box.

thanks
