are the results using your phone number or address?
not sure what you mean when you say you ave taken over the account as you cannot transfer an existing account in another person's name to yourself - you can change the payment information but not the account holder.
the checker shows fibre available - does your phone line work? dial tone?
What date did you place your broadband order with BT Retail?
What activation date were you given?
Ordered on 7th December given 23rd December for activation.

Yes that is correct, I have a new number and I am the account holder
