Orange light, line fault

Had the exact same problem a few months ago, got back home for Christmas and the Internets been off for days apparently. Last time it was a line fault that the engineer fixed in minutes free of charge. This time the only difference is the router(hh4) flashes orange for a time, shows the red broadband light then goes green then blue then back to orange. It loops like this ever half hour or so. The Internet never actually connects. Can also hear crackling on the phone line. The online help chat keeps bouncing me about and disconnecting me. Is it possible for a mod to organise a engineer visit? Thanks you guys were great last time.

Just report  it as a noisy phone line, the broadband will get better once the phone line is fixed.

are you using the test socket with a new filter for hub and quiet line test to eliminate any problems being caused by your internal wiring
