Order cancelled but still showing as in progress

As above. Does anyone have any info on this? I'm at the end of my tether with BT and thought of having to call them again to get this clarified has my stomach in knots. Has anyone experienced anything similar or is it just standard procedure. I called to cancel the order about 12 hours ago (about 6pm, yesterday evening).

MyBT can take up to 48 hours to update, when did you originally place your order, and what was the problem with the order that caused you to cancel?

Thanks for that Keith. You've put my mind at ease, unless it gets to 6pm tomorrow evening and it's still showing.

I know you said it can take up to 48 hours, but it's been approximately 36 hours and still no change. With 48 hours it should be updated on MyBT by this evening. *Mild panic setting in...getting into appropriate mindset in anticipation of having to call BT.*

I don`t think the order system updates at the weekend.

How did you cancel the order, online or by phone?
