Outlook 365 - How to access and edit special IMAP folder path?

In previous versions of Outlook (and other email programs) when setting up an IMAP account I could access the special folders on the server (sent, deleted,  drafts, junk etc) and edit the path of the default settings.

Setting up an IMAP account in Outlook 365 I cant find anyway to access the special folders in order to edit the path.

Is there a way to do it in Outlook 365?

Just looked at a similar post today.

Office 365 is a subscription product and you will get good support from MS forums. I have Office 365, others mention Outlook 2016. Not sure if they are part of one and the same package.

A possible cause is that Outlook 365 now wants you to store PST files on the pc.  This where MS  support can help. It still works by keeping mail on the server - with difficulty. I have it working well on a desktop, with Outlook 2007 & 2010 as a backup.

It’s compromise on the laptop, though, with only Office 365, as the calendar is difficult to set up.

Thanks for replying.

All versions of Outlook create local PST files with the exception when using IMAP accounts which create OST files. But neither is relevant. 

I think my query and issue relates to an idiosyncrasy of OL365. I'll do as you suggested and  explore MS support as well as Outlook support groups.

MS Support, or groups, may offer you a free diagnostic tool (Offcat) to download.

It's been in use for some time and may by now have been superseded.

 It's useful for Outlook in particular. However it's an automated tool, which requires some careful thought in interpretation of results. That' s how I discovered errors in .pst file locations.

Update:- Offcat superseded by a tool named SaRa. (A repair and recovery tool for Office 365).

Apparently it still incorporates Offcat.
