Any noise on the line report it as a line fault not BB.

Good to know it's all sorted.  So was a type B modem sent out instead and that sorted it?  I think the OP said that he had a Type A and then got a replacement type A and both were not working.  Or is there more to it.

After being sent the 2nd type A which was still disconnecting I went back to support and they managed to detect a fault, openreach engineer visited the cabinet, the building and on site. Replaced the master socket. Disconnections were still happening with the type A albeit much less frequent. Mod managed send me another hub and by chance it was a Type B!!! Connection up for days now.
