My nana currently has a bb and calls package with BT, the price has got a little much for her so I spoke to a lady from BT this morning regarding a MAC code so that I can change providers to the one I want and pay for the bb as my nana doesnt use the internet other than for email. If I use the MAC code what happens with regards to the phone side of things? My nana is happy to stay with BT for the phone.
Any help would be appreciated.
Mac (migration authorisation code) applies to BB only not the phone line so just make sure you agree only to a BB only package with the new Isp
I take it then that if I did that, she would have a phone line without any calling packages and would need to phone BT to set up a calls only package. Is this correct?
If your calls package is linked to BB yes if not it should not be affected
