Currently experiencing packet loss;
pinging google.com gives me an average ping of 11ms but 25% packet loss
this is fairly consistent with pinging youtube, facebook and a number of other large sites.
On occasion am getting 50% PL.
Pinging my router consitently gives me x<5ms ping and 0% packet loss.
Im assuming this means the fault lies outside my home network and something BT will have to solve? We had an engineer round the other day for a different issue and post his visit the net has been fairly good, unsure if the issues im having now are simply due to the excess use as a result of quarantine?
Not the best with this kind of stuff so if I need to provide any screenshots of any tests may need a helping had with how to carry them out!
