Paid bill but phone not working

hi i have paid my bill online this morning as my internet was restricted internet now working but phone is not how long will it take for phone to be back on cant even ring bt to find out.

Hi rach39 and welcome to the forum!

If you paid your bill just before please allow 48 hours for BB to be reconnected and 24 hours for your phone line before calling BT as theses are the lead times.

my internet worked straight away i will wait till morning then to see if phone line working i cant even get incoming calls at the moment

every time i tryto use my phone it says sorry you can not make or recieve calls on this line? it was working fine until i spoke to bt on tuesday? help. thanks
