Parental controls on but switched off

I have all controls turned OFF but I keep getting channels asking for a PIN number due to parental control - what's going on ??

That is the subscription channel  providing rated content  pre watershed. Discussed in many threads already.

If a Mandatory PIN is required then you must enter the PIN to view. 

It is a safeguard that the Channel  Provider has introduced to enable them to conform to OFCOM  guidelines on rated content pre watershed.
