Password Change: Error 404

Go to solution

I am attempting to change the password on one of my sub account email addresses (managed to change the main account password easily), go to the bt.com/passwordreset page, enter in the BT IT (which is the email address in full) and password, then get a 404 error.

The email account will be blocked within 5 days if I don't change the password, but the page to do so is missing.

What can I do?

Hi @mr_zerostate,

For BT Yahoo Mail accounts you can change the password at the following link:

bt.com/changepassword

Let me know if this worked for you.

Thanks

Yes, this worked. Thanks.

A bit strange that the page still has a BT Yahoo branding on it.

Why is it strange for a BTYahoo site to have BTYahoo branding?

Because it's not BT Yahoo anymore, and hasn't been for a year or two.

Err, I think you will find that there are many of us that haven't been migrated and are still on BTYahoo mail. As indeed you obviously are or that page wouldn't have worked.
