Peak time speeds slow

Hi Guys, Probably going to contact the mods as had this problem last year, turned out to be too much congestion and they sorted the problem out, I use to get a constant 70meg+ all the time however this has dropped to 50 odd meg not downloading any p2p files etc so not being capped and router and modem are left on 24/7. FAQ Results Image not loaded 1. Best Effort Test: -provides background information. Download Speed 57.39 Mbps 0 Mbps 77.43 Mbps Max Achievable Speed Download speedachieved during the test was - 57.39 Mbps For your connection, the acceptable range of speedsis 16 Mbps-77.43 Mbps . Additional Information: IP Profile for your line is - 77.43 Mbps 2. Upstream Test: -provides background information. Upload Speed 15.74 Mbps 0 Mbps 20 Mbps Max Achievable Speed Upload speed achieved during the test was - 15.74Mbps Additional Information: Upstream Rate IP profile on your line is - 20 Mbps We were unable to identify any performance problem with your service at this time. It is possible that any problem you are currently, or had previously experienced may have been caused by traffic congestion on the Internet or by the server you were accessing responding slowly. If you continue to encounter a problem with a specific server, please contact the administrator of that server in the first instance. Any clues ? Regards

Re: Peak time speeds slow

Have you tried another speedtest site to rule out problems with the BT speedtest?

As posted in another thread:- prove your download of only 2-5 mbps on Infinitry.

No, it was directed at the poster who I quoted. If it was a general question I would not have quoted anyone.

That isn't too complicated for you is it?
