Re: Personalised Offers

OMG! You surely aren't suggesting, that I'm not gonna get really fast broadband from BT until Open Reach follows City Fibre round all the streets they did in Northampton, thereby parallelling all City Fibre's infrastructure?

Re: Personalised Offers

No, I'm suggesting you won't get FTTP from BT at all if another provider has installed the infrastructure. If there was sufficient demand they'd likely have done it already. With another provider in place, there's no opportunity for Government/Council subsidy either, so even less incentive.

Re: Personalised Offers

Just spotted another amazing benefit to this fantastic offer. Not only can I renew early & pay more money for the exact same service, but there's a special deal of £0 activation fee! That's right folks, our kindly benefactor is prepared to do absolutely nothing FREE OF CHARGE!

Can't wait for the Black Friday 3 for 2 offers. Buy two & pay for three... 😂

Re: Personalised Offers

BT, you really are spoiling me with your generosity. Today's special is warning that my contract "Ends soon" despite it still being over 3 months away. So what do BT have for me today? Well their opening gambit warns that I'm currently paying £30.37 for Fibre 1 & that from 16th February, I'll be paying £38.37. So what is the special offer? I can renew my contract 3 months only, tie myself into a 24 month contract & it will only cost me £45.99. Yes, instead of paying an extra £8 pm, BT  are prepared to let me pay an extra £15.62 pm...
