BT were due to take over my Broadband and Phone services from Sky on 13 May 2016. However I've noticed the following message on my order tracking page.
"We have not received commitment for the order yet, so it may become delayed
We are aware of the problem and a specialist team is working on it. We'll be in contact as soon as we have further news."
I've been on to Live Chat but not really understanding what they're telling me. They said the order failed as Sky have a cease date on my telephone number of 12 May 2016. As it's a number port this means they have cancelled my order.
I've had no email confirmation that my order has been cancelled. Apparently BT attempted to phone us, but we've never received a phone call. We may have been out of the house.
So, will I be left without Broadband and Phone for a while because I need to put in the order again? I'm really confused about where I go from here.
Can anyone advise?
Thanks & Regards
you need to remove the live chat transcript as against forum rules - or mods will
this seems to be happening a lot on new customers moving from SKY - or maybe just a coincidence
I'll be able to take a look at your order. Please can you send me in your details using the "Contact The Mods" link found in my profile?
Thanks for your swift replies. Apologies for the chat transcript. I've filled in the form as per your request.
Order on tracking page now being shown as "Cancelled" across Broadband, Phone & BT Sport.
